We take data protection seriously
The protection of your privacy when processing personal data is an important concern for us. When you visit our website, our web servers store the IP address of your Internet service provider, the website from which you visit us, the pages you visit on our website and the date and duration of your visit. This information is absolutely necessary for the technical transmission of the web pages and secure server operation. A personalized evaluation of this data does not take place.
If you send us data by contact form, these data are stored on our servers in the course of data backup. Your data will only be used by us to process your request. Your data will be treated strictly confidentially. The data will not be passed on to third parties.

Personal data are data about your person. These
include your name, address and email address. You also do not have
to reveal any personal data to visit our website. In some cases we
need your name and address as well as further information to be
able to offer you the desired service.
The same applies in the event that we supply you with informational material on demand or if we answer your enquiries. In these cases we will always point this out to you. Furthermore, we only store the data that you have transmitted to us automatically or voluntarily.
If you use one of our services, we usually only collect the data that is necessary to be able to offer you that service. We may ask you for further information, but it is voluntary. Whenever we process personal data, we do so only to provide you with our services or to pursue our commercial goals.
Automatically recorded data
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Date and time of the request
- Name of the requested file
- Page from which the file was requested
- Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
- Web browser and operating system used
- complete IP address of the requesting computer
- transferred data volume
These data are not combined with other data
sources. Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para.
1 letter f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in
improving the stability and functionality of our website.
For reasons of technical security, in particular to prevent attempts to attack our web server, these data are temporarily stored by us. It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons on the basis of this data. After seven days at the latest, the data is made anonymous by shortening the IP address at domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish a reference to the individual user. The data is also processed in anonymous form for statistical purposes; it is not compared with other data stocks or passed on to third parties, even in excerpts. Only in the context of our server statistics, which we publish every two years in our activity report, a representation of the number of page views takes place.
Google Analytics with anonymization add-on
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service
of Google Inc. 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043
USA (hereinafter "Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which
are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze
how users use the site.
The information generated by these cookies, such as the time, place and frequency of your visit to the website, including your IP address, is transmitted to Google in the USA and stored there.
We use Google Analytics on our website with the add-on "_gat._anonymizeIp". In this case, Google will already reduce your IP address within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area and thereby make it anonymous.
Google will use this information to evaluate your use of our site, to compile reports on website activity for us and to provide other services relating to website and Internet use. Google may also transfer this information to third parties, provided that this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google.
If you visit our site via a mobile device (smartphone or tablet), you must click this link instead to prevent tracking by Google Analytics within this website in the future. This is also possible as an alternative to the browser add-on above. By clicking the link, an opt-out cookie is set in your browser that is only valid for this browser and this domain. If you delete the cookies in this browser, the opt-out cookie will also be deleted, so you will have to click the link again.
If you agree that Google will link your web and app browsing history to your Google Account and use information from your Google Account to personalize ads, Google will use your information with Google Analytics data to create cross-device remarketing targeting lists. To do this, Google Analytics first collects your Google Authenticated ID on our site, which is associated with your Google Account (personally identifiable information). Google Analytics will then temporarily link your ID to your Google Analytics data in order to optimize our target groups.
If you don't agree to this, you can turn it off by setting it in the My Account section of your Google Account.
Twitter Recommendation Components
We use components of the provider Twitter on
our site. Twitter is a service of Twitter Inc, 795 Folsom St.,
Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.
Every time you visit our website, which is equipped with such a component, this component causes the browser you are using to download a corresponding representation of the component from Twitter. This process informs Twitter which specific page of our website is currently being visited.
By loading the page it is possible that the browser sends personal data such as the IP address or entire cookies to the social services.
You can change your privacy settings in your account settings at http://twitter.com/account/settings.
Twitter Plugins (Tweet Button)
Our website uses so-called social plugins of
the microblogging service Twitter, which is operated by Twitter
Inc. 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA
(hereafter 'Twitter'). The plugins are marked with a Twitter logo,
for example in the form of a blue 'Twitter bird'. An overview of
the Twitter plugins and their appearance can be found here:
When you access a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Twitter's servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from Twitter to your browser and integrated into the page. The integration gives Twitter the information that your browser has called up the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Twitter profile or are not currently logged in to Twitter. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a Twitter server in the USA and stored there.
If you are logged in to Twitter, Twitter can immediately associate your visit to our website with your Twitter account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by pressing the 'Tweet' button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Twitter server and stored there. The information will also be published on your Twitter account and displayed to your contacts.
The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Twitter as well as your relevant rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy can be found in the Twitter data protection information: https://twitter.com/privacy
If you do not want Twitter to associate the data collected via our website directly with your Twitter account, you must log out of Twitter before visiting our website. You can also completely prevent the Twitter plugins from loading with add-ons for your browser, e.g. with the script blocker 'NoScript' (https://noscript.net/).
A plugin of the video portal JWPlayer, LongTail
Ad Solutions, Inc. d/b/a JWPlayer 2 Park Avenue, 10th Floor New
York, NY 10016, USA is integrated on our website. Each time you
visit a site that offers one or more JWPlayer video clips, a direct
connection is established between your browser and a JWPlayer
server in the United States. Information about your visit and your
IP address is stored there. By interacting with the JWPlayer
plugins (e.g. clicking the start button) this information is also
transmitted to JWPlayer and stored there.
JWPlayer also notifies the tracker Google Analytics via an iFrame in which the video is displayed. This is JWPlayer's own tracking, which we do not have access to. You can stop tracking by Google Analytics by using the opt-out tools which Google offers for some Internet browsers. Users can also prevent Google from collecting data generated by Google Analytics and relating to their use of the website (including their IP address) and from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
This website uses Google Maps to display maps and to create route maps. Google Maps is operated by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.By using Google Maps on this website, you consent to the collection, processing and use of the data collected automatically and the data you have entered by Google, one of its representatives or third-party providers.
We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for sending the newsletter, i.e. we will only send you a newsletter by email if you have expressly confirmed to us beforehand that we should activate the newsletter service. We will then send you a notification email and ask you to confirm that you would like to receive our newsletter by clicking on a link contained in this email. When you register for our newsletter, we save your IP address and the date of registration. This storage serves solely as proof in the event that a third party misuses your email address to register you without your knowledge or your authorization to receive the newsletter. If you do not wish to receive any newsletters from us at a later date, you can object to this at any time without incurring any additional costs.
We have taken technical and administrative
security precautions to protect your personal data against loss,
destruction, manipulation and unauthorized access. All our
employees and service providers working for us are bound by the
applicable data protection laws.
Whenever we collect and process personal data, it is encrypted before it is transmitted. This means that your data cannot be misused by third parties. Our security precautions are subject to a continuous improvement process and our data protection declarations are constantly revised. Please make sure you have the latest version.
Rights of the data subject

data transferability and to a complaint in accordance with the
requirements of data protection law.
Right to information:
You can request information from us as to whether and to what extent we process your data.

Irrespective of the exercise of your right to deletion, we will delete your data immediately and completely, unless there is a legal transaction or legal obligation to retain it.
Right to limitation of processing:
You may request us to restrict the processing of your data if
- you dispute the accuracy of the data for a period of time that allows us to verify the accuracy of the data.
- the processing of the data is unlawful, but you refuse to delete it and instead request a restriction on the use of the data,
- we no longer need the data for the intended purpose, but you still need this data to assert or defend legal claims, or
- you have lodged an objection to the processing of the data.
Right to data transferability:
You may require us to provide you with the data you have provided to us in a structured, current and machine-readable format and to allow you to pass this data to another person in charge without our interference, provided that

- this processing is carried out using automated methods.
- If it is technically feasible, you can ask us to transfer your data directly to another person responsible.
Right of objection:
If we process your data for legitimate reasons, you can object to this data processing at any time; this would also apply to profiling based on these provisions. We will then no longer process your data unless we can prove compelling reasons worthy of protection for the processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims. You can object to the processing of your data for the purpose of direct advertising at any time without giving reasons.
Right of appeal:
If you are of the opinion that we violate German or European data protection law when processing your data, please contact us to clarify any questions.
